My dear friend and fellow Aomori-ken JET, singer-songwriter Anne Sumner has just released her second album, Stating The Obvious.
Anne is a singer-songwriter based in London, UK. Raised in a musical home, she started writing songs about three years ago, and released her first album in the autumn of 2009.
Stating The Obvious, her second album features a mixture of piano ballads, laid-back acoustic songs and a bit of pop, expressing direct messages and accessible emotions (hence the title).
The album’s theme is that no matter how shy you are, everyone has the right to make their feelings known and tell the truth as they see it – and that often, in relationships, a lot of really obvious things are better said than left unsaid.
